Remember remember…

That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. – Ecclesiastes 1:9

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the LORD weighs the hearts. – Proverbs 21:2

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. – 2 Corinthians 5:17

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me,“Write, for these words are true and faithful.” And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts”. – Revelation 21:1-6

  1. Yeah, fair enough. The number of people who have died in Sudan since that date also needs remembering. Have you secured a publishing deal yet? I saw a very interesting BBC programme on writing a best seller recently. They mentioned that George Orwell had 19 rejections before someone saw his potential.

  2. Hi Kieran!Just wanted to give a different perspective to the day. No publishing deal yet (I wish), the PhD has taken over like the ravenous beast it is. I’ve been submitting some short stories around and I’m wating to hear from a couple of magazines.I’ve had a lot more than 19 rejections (close to 30), so I guess that means something. Hey! I beat George Orwell!
